Look: there’s the Earth! – exhibition in planetarium

Starting in November 2015, the planetarium will host a free-entry exhibition (open to everyone) dealing with space exploration and research, and how the results are affecting our day-to-day lives.

Planetarium will be closed 31.08-18.09

From 31st August to 18th September, the Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium will be unavailable for our visitors due to the need to carry out the essential maintenance works.

The Night of Shooting Stars 2015

As each year, during the night of 12/13 August, we will be able to observe the maximum of the Perseids – one of the best known meteor showers! At that time, it is possible to see even 100 of them per hour! We invite you to the Discovery Park at the Copernicus Science Centre to participate in our joint observation of the sky. Especially for you, we will turn off the lights in Warsaw!

Meeting with Prof. Anton Zeilinger, quantum physicist

Come attend a lecture by Prof. Anton Zeilinger, who will talk about quantum mechanics in an easily-accessible way.
8 July, 7:00 pm at Copernicus Conference Centre.
