Spring came on
20
March 2012 at 06:14. On this occasion, the successive display of “The
Sky Over
Warsaw” makes its debut at the Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium. At the
show, we
will watch the spring constellations and count planets. We may find out
more about
them than we could expect...
From 13 January, there
will be two new films available at the Heavens of Copernicus
Planetarium:
“Origins Of Life” and “We Are Astronomers”.
This meteor shower, which the Earth enters from time to time, will give us a true spectacle of falling stars. Weather permitting, we may expect the night sky to light up with even 800 meteors per hour! Their radiant is located in the Draco constellation, which means that they will make an impression as if they flew out of this constellation. They are remains of the 21P/Giacobini-Zinner comet.
