On Friday (20 March 2015), between 9.47 and 12.07, we would be able to observe a partial solar eclipse in Poland. The Planetarium at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw invites all educational institutions for joint observations of this astronomical phenomenon.
Take a glance up at the night sky. No matter how many stars you can see, you could still be seeing more. Today a truly dark sky is a rare occurrence indeed. Yet few people give much thought to the problem of light pollution. Karol Wójcicki from The Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium talks about the campaign.
Isn’t it pleasant to speak of love under clear skies, full of twinkling stars? In February, such miracles can only happen at the Heavens of Copernicus! This year, the Valentine’s Day in the planetarium is two days long.
