During the night of 12 August 2014, we will be able to observe the maximum of the Perseids meteor shower. Our experience suggests that it is the most pleasant to observe the sky together with friends. Therefore, just like the last year, we invite you to the Discovery Park at the Copernicus Science Centre to participate in our joint observation of the sky.
We encourage you to participate in the summer astronomical observations organised in the Discovery Park on Saturdays from 02 to 30 August from 9.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.
NOTE: Astronomical observations are dependent on weather conditions.
For the summer holidays, the planetarium has prepared a special programme. There will be a lot of music, including jazz and classical music concerts, and music for children. We also invite you to our laser shows: “Dark Side of the Moon” and “Constellation Love”, designed especially for couples.
From 1st to 11th September, the Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium will be unavailable for our visitors due to the need to carry out the essential maintenance works.
